Gerard Dietrich, KW's most trusted choice for children's entertainment, has amazed audiences across Canada, United States and Ireland. With over 5 decades of practical experience performing for literally tens of thousands of children, Gerard makes party planning easy and fun!
Throughout his career Gerard has been given various distinctions and won numerous awards. He has even earned his DTM (Distinguished Toastmaster Designation), the highest level of achievement you can reach in the Toastmasters organization.
Gerard was one of the first to bring David Copperfield's "Project Magic" to Canada. "Project Magic" is a program designed to bring magicians and occupational therapists together to teach sleight of hand to physically challenged patients.
Using magic to help kids in need has been a theme throughout Gerard's career. From teaching to fundraising, Gerard has led by example in his community. For 17 years, he ran a weekly magic club at the local YMCA, which kicked-started the careers of a number of professional magicians. He was one of the founding members, and current President of the KW chapter of "The International Brotherhood of Magicians" Magic Club.
